In addition to our regular Monday night singing, I am also hosting an Election Night Singing on Tuesday, November 4, 2008!
So, vote, and then come sing! (We'll be checking the TV periodically to see how it's going as they start tallying up those votes from the East Coast.)
The singing is at the home of Inder, Rebecca, and Steve in Oakland (Lake Merritt semi-adjacent), from 6 p.m. to 9p.m., from Denson, Cooper, and other books. There will an informal, low-pressure potluck dinner - bring a dish if you can. Non-alcoholic beverages (if you haven't heard, I am with child and on the wagon!) are also very welcome. I'll be making a big pot of mac & cheese (and maybe a pot of beans - is anyone vegan?), and my man can cook a fine chicken, so if you're too frazzled to cook on such a busy day, please come anyway! There will be tons of food.
We'll be arranging a BART pickup for anyone coming from San Francisco or beyond. I have been informed that Oakland feels like the outer reaches of space to some, but our place is actually closer to SF than our regular Berkeley singing locale! (Am I selling this hard enough?)
